Contact Bruce at bruceanliker@yahoo.com
How We Work
- Email me with details of your art project
- Send digital images of your project to bruceanliker@yahoo.com
- Send your deposit
- We can take PayPal, credit card, personal check or money order
- Your deposit will get a spot reserved for you
on my waiting list
- You will receive regular email updates regarding the status of your art and your progress up the list
- Once your art makes it to the top of the list, I'll proceed with rough pencil sketches of your car
- I'll email you the rough pencil sketch to get your input, ideas, corrections and suggestions
- Once you are happy with the direction of the rough pencil sketch I'll proceed to put the art into pen and ink
- I scan the pen and ink rendering into PhotoShop where I colorize it and add effects
- I'll email you copies of the low resolution color file and ask for the remaining payment
- You'll receive the digital file and 2 hard copies (typically 11 x 17")
- I'll work with you to have the art output in any manner you like--on t-shirts, banners, decals, etc.
Important Notes
- The larger and more detailed the digital images you send the more I can see. The more detail I can see, the more I can include in your art. Large, close-up images of wheel and tire detail, disk brakes, scoops, custom paint, anything that makes your vehicle unique are extremely helpful!
- Your deposit is 100% refundable PRIOR to my starting work on your art should you change your mind or become unhappy with the wait.
- As the creator of the art, I retain the right to duplicate your art for promotional purposes (like here on this Web site) and/or on products I may choose to produce now or in the future. Such products may include t-shirts, calendars, mugs, etc.
What's This "List" Mentioned Above?
Yep, I have a waiting list. Guess it's the nature of the beast. Folks seem to like my art and seem to think getting the digital file to use any way they like is a pretty sweet deal. BUT, you should know that creating this art isn't my 8 to 5 job every day. Nope, it's a side business I've created because I LOVE to draw cars. Maybe one day I'll have enough art so that I can do it full time. Until then, I take your business on a first-come, first-served basis. The first person to send a deposit is the first name on my list and the first art I produce. That's the only way I feel I can be fair to all concerned and to help maintain my sanity. No, I don't LIKE to make people wait, but I can't change that aspect of this type of work. It takes time to produce the art and to work through the list...
So How Long DOES It Take?
Depends. Typically I have 10 to 15 names on my list. That means it's usually about 6 weeks before I can start on your pencil sketch. Once I start on your pencil sketch it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to complete your final color art. So that's not too bad once we get started! Also, I'm usually working on more than one cartoon at a time so I can stay ahead of the work as much as possible.
Sound Good?
Great! Then email and let's get started on YOUR art!
